EATS AND DRINKS
Lake Ann is 10 minutes away, and has a small (but well-stocked) grocery store, as well as Lake Ann Brewing, which serves up a great selection of beers, seltzers, and wines. In the summer, they have live music every night on the back patio. The Stone Oven next door to the brewery has some great eats, and you can sit at the brewery to enjoy your meal. When you’re ready for dessert, head down the street to the Corner Cone for ice cream!
ADVENTURE
Hop off the back deck to enter 200+ acres of the Lower Woodcock Lake Nature Preserve. Or, bring your kayaks, walk across the road, and access Bronson Lake. The Platte River is half a mile down the road. Make it an M-22 road trip and spend the day meandering through Empire, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Leland, Northport, and Suttons Bay, before cruising back to Lake Ann.
REVIEWS
This was a hidden gem in a great area! We truly enjoyed the attention to detail to make the space feel welcomed and comfortable and not just a place to sleep. You can't go wrong with this home away from home!
We enjoyed our stay so much! The place is chique, well equipped, and offers the perfect get away. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful weekend at this stay! Our host was super responsive and the house is so charming. Everything was so comfy and cozy. Carrie sent us great recommendations for the area. We already are thinking about coming back to enjoy it in the summer. Thank you for the hospitality!
This was such an amazing place! The home was so so cute, well decorated, cozy and clean! I couldn’t believe we found such an awesome place to stay. The location is beautiful, with a very scenic drive and just isolated enough to give that “in the middle of the woods” feel. It was also about 30 mins from Traverse city, super close to a ton of hikes and Lake Ann is a close, cute little town to visit. The host, Carrie, provided a ton of recommendations and was quick and clear on check-in instructions.
